Summer is almost here and if you’re looking for books for your preteens to read, might I suggest, The Prince Warriors by Priscilla Shirer. My children and I (and two visiting cousins) read the first book in the series as a read-aloud several years ago.
I created a lapbook to go along with the book so it could be used for homeschool or if your child reads on his/her own, the lapbook can help check comprehension.
I highly recommend this book for many reasons, but the best one is that it is a great parallel of spiritual warfare. I believe it will be an eye opener – in a good way. It’s high energy and a fun read – for parents and kids!
