I have been so excited to use my Reading is for Everyone eBook this summer with some students that I have been tutoring. I wrote the book for my daughter, who just wasn’t “getting” reading using the traditional methods of teaching it. The students I have been teaching are from Korean and are learning to read English.
I created pictures from the letters that make up the special phonics rules. Here’s an example:
