Our church is holding a Family Summit this weekend. The speaker will be Dr. Ted Tripp, author of Shepherding a Child’s Heart. His website is here.
During the Summit, some of our older children will be making a Proverbs “lapbook style” poster. I created this resource over the summer after buying the book Shepherding a Child’s Heart for my Kindle. Dr. Tripp references the wisdom found in Proverbs often in his book.
There are so many good life principles found in the book of Proverbs.
This past summer, we read one chapter each day from Proverbs and then summed up what we learned on a lapbook piece. We glued it to a poster board, which hung up in the kitchen. The kids took turns writing the summary each morning. It was a fun and meaningful activity.
