We are doing a summer Bible study on Proverbs at our house.
Each morning (or as often as we can), we sit down at breakfast and take turns reading a chapter from Proverbs.
Then, we discuss what we learned and record it on a “lapbook” type interactive piece. Let me just say that we are learning A LOT! I don’t think I’ve ever read Proverbs straight through before and we are enjoying the wisdom of Solomon. Since he was the son of David (that went up against Goliath), we knew David had taught him many things. Also, since Solomon asked for widsom and God granted it to him, we knew this was a book we wanted to look closely at this summer.
We then glue our interactive piece onto a poster board.
At the end of the summer (or you could do this any month of the year), we will have an interactive keepsake poster to remind us of all the things we learned from Proverbs.
If you want to see what we learned, you can follow my blog. I’ll try to update often with what we have written each day on our interactive piece.
