Outschool is an online platform that people can use to offer classes on all manner of subjects.
I’m offering a class entitled, Come and Meet the Vowel People, tomorrow at 1:00EST. This class if for ages 3-6. I’ll modify it to the ability of the students who attend.

Here’s a basic outline of what I will be doing in class.
Lesson Plan – Come and Meet the Vowel People
Introductions
Make Vowel People stick puppets (parents downloaded the file when enrolled)
Introduce each stick puppet with the accompanying story.
Practice each story/hand motion.
Practice writing the vowels.
Practice the letter sounds with other props.
Go over some consonants (if time and ability) Read some simple words. (Examples: bat, bet, bit, bot, but)
If student is beyond this level, have him read the readers. (Google slides)
If you’re interested in teaching for Outschool, the requirement is to be 18 or older. No degree required. You’ll have to fill out an application and submit a short video introducing yourself. Once approved, you can submit a class idea. Once your class is approved, you’re all set! Just open up the times you can teach and wait to get booked by parents!
