Letter Recognition: Decorate letter Y with pieces of yarn

Phonics: Y says /y/ as in Yell! Ask the following questions and have your child “yell” the answers.
1-What’s your name?
2-How old are you?
3-What’s your favorite color?
4-What’s your favorite food?
Math: Measure different lengths of yarn
Color: Yellow (Use yellow yarn for the Art project)
Shape: Use rough sandpaper and yarn to review shapes. The yarn sticks to the sandpaper, so little ones should be able to form various shapes.
Art: Toilet roll yak.

I got this super cute idea here:
Science: Dye yarn using blueberries (See this demonstrated on my Youtube channel.)
