Letter Recognition: Decorate letter X with lots of colorful X’s
Phonics: X says /x/ as in the “ks” sound made when using a spray bottle to water plants (show one and demonstrate)
Math: Treasure Hunt Math Mat (Add and take away treasures up to ten)

Shape: Cut two red rectangles and glue them to make an X for the treasure map you’ll make in Art
Art: Coffee stained treasure map (Directions: Tear the edges of a piece of copy paper. Draw the map. Water down some instant coffee and paint the paper and allow to dry. Glue an X to mark the spot where the treasure will be hidden.) – See this demonstrated on my Youtube Channel below.
