Letter E

Posted on August 13, 2011 by kathyahutto

Letter Skills:  E

  • Sound it Out:  E says “e” like a little old lady who can’t hear well… “Eh, What’d you say sonny? Eh” Toddlers will think this is funny especially if you borrow a pair of “little old lady” glasses and really act out the part!
  • Decorate blank letter E using colored egg shells (left over from Easter or color your own using food coloring); looks like a colorful mosaic
  • Letter Hunt-give each child a magazine page; have him look for letter E and highlight
  • Popsicle Stick Letter E-have students lay one stick flat  and three to the side to form letter E
