A new “In His Presence” Series on Romans is beginning here on Monday!
Some of you may have participated in our In His Presence series on Mark. If you would like to read more about how this works, read about it here.
This time, the Lord has led me to the book of Romans. Basically, here’s how this works…
I will post a Scripture reference at 6:30 AM each morning (EST). Knowing there are others doing this at the same time helps with accountability. (but you can do it any time of day as well) We will begin with Romans 1 and go through the entire book SLOWLY – just about 10 or so verses each day. This is so we can really mine out all the truths and not rush through and miss something. I’ll divide it out at appropriate stopping points. You just hop onto the blog or Twitter and get the Scriptures for that day. Read them from your Bible and look at any of the other extra materials I post, for further study. The point of this is for you to “get into His presence” for yourself. I love devotional books and Bible studies, but I have found that there is NO SUBSTITUTE for digging into the Word for myself and letting God teach me and speak to me directly. If you’d like to comment on the blog or reply on Twitter on any given day, feel free. We can share what the Lord is showing us and encourage each other.
If you want to participate, simply make note (or subscribe/follow) of my blog address or Twitter feed and visit there daily for the reference. That’s it! I’m so excited about what God will show us in the book of Romans.

Check this out if you have time before Monday. It will give you an idea of the impact Romans has had on some pretty important people in history – Spurgeon, Luther, Wesley…

Get ready! This is going to be good! But, be on guard for the enemy! Don’t stand for any of his shenanigans to distract you or attack you! God has something mighty in store for all of us through the study His Word. Isaiah 55:11, “So shall My word be that goes out from My mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.” ESV
For His glory,
Kathy
