Hold Fast to the Lord

Posted on April 3, 2020April 3, 2020 by kathyahutto

During my Bible & prayer time this morning, I read Deuteronomy 4:4. “You who held fast to the Lord your God…”

During trying times, when it seems all hope is lost… those are times when we are desperate for Him. Like the woman in the Bible with the issue of blood for twelve years (Luke 8) who did whatever she could to get near to Jesus, these times call for us to cling to Him. Our hope is truly found only in Him.

Yesterday, the hymn, “He Will Hold me Fast,” was on my heart. I wrote it at the top of my journal, and even text a Youtube link by Keith and Kristyn Getty to several friends.

I think what God was showing me and what I want to share with you, is that as we cling to and hold fast to Him, we find He’s holding us right back.

He is ever present in time of need. Please don’t miss this chance to spend time with Him while the world is a little stiller. While you have a little more time. While we are in desperate need of Him.

He will hold you fast.

Kathy
