Getting Kids to Read the Bible//Where to start

Posted on May 21, 2020May 21, 2020 by kathyahutto

We all want our kids to read the Bible. But, giving them a Bible and saying, “Go read it,” probably isn’t the best approach.

I have a great tip!

Have them start with Joshua and read through 2 Samuel. In these chapters, your child/ren will read about the adventures of Joshua, Gideon, Samson, Ruth, Saul, Jonathan and David! They’ll even learn what happened to Goliath’s sword!

I made a quick Youtube video to talk about this, if you’d like to take a look.
