When the kids were younger, we LOVED reading a chapter book together. One of our favorites was, The Long Winter by Laura Ingalls Wilder.
We made homemade butter, scarves and a corn cobb doll to go along with the unit.
I know winter is over, but since they were snowed in and we are having to stay in – for other reasons – I thought it might be something fun for your kids to do.
