Find Baby Jesus Game

Posted on December 5, 2011September 24, 2022 by kathyahutto

I posted this game under Toddler and Preschool, but I actually used it with my Kindergarten Sunday School Class yesterday at church.  Our lesson was about the Shepherds and how they searched for Jesus after being told of His birth by an angel.

In advance, write important facts from your lesson on small strips of paper and place them inside boxes and bags with Christmas bows on them.  Inside one of the boxes, place a picture of baby Jesus.

Have the children take turns picking a present to open and pulling out what’s inside.  Read the facts aloud to the class.  Keep going until baby Jesus is found.  Have the kids cover their eyes and hide baby Jesus again in another box or bag. The kids had sooo much fun with this!  They wanted  to play it over and over…and over…you get the idea!
