Beth Moore ebooks FREE

Posted on January 6, 2014 by kathyahutto

Beth Moore and her publisher are offering several of her books in ebook form for FREE (only free through the first 10 days of 2014)!!

I would highly recommend, When Godly People do Ungodly Things.  I believe I have read that Beth said that it and Breaking Free (which I also highly, highly recommend for everyone to read) are two of her best ones.  It is an eye-opener about the spiritual battle going on around us.

One of Beth Moore’s other free books is Believing God.  On page 26, it states, “Our toughest battles will invariable concern matters of faith – times when we’re tempted to think God’s Word and His ways won’t work for us, that He has abandoned us, let us down, or failed to come through for us.  If satan can get us to drop our shield of faith, he knows we can’t remain standing for very long.”

Beth says that she has a very specific five-statement pledge of faith that you can use.  I LOVE it and have committed it to memory.  I LOVE having a tangible way to put on the shield of faith.  I am constantly having to say one or the other to myself.  Sometimes, I just tap that finger to remind myself if I’m somewhere that I can’t say it out loud.

Look on page 29…

God is who He says He is. (thumb)

God can do what He says He can do. (pointer finger)

I am who God says I am. (tall finger)

I can do all things through Christ. (ring finger)

God’s Word is alive and active in me. (pinkie)

She also has a sign language that she uses often to strengthen her shield of faith:

I (point to self)

Believe (point to head)

God (point up)

Blessings,

Kathy

(I would be grateful if you would lift up my family in prayer.)
