Today’s post…
Since it’s Wednesday night and we went to church, I didn’t post a new family devotional.
However, I wanted to share with you the blessing I pray over my children every, single night. My children have it memorized now.
I pray:
“Lord bless (child’s name) and keep him/her. Make Your face to shine upon him/her. Raise Your countenance toward him/her and give him/her peace. (Numbers 6:24-26) Continue to help (child’s name) grow in wisdom and stature and favor with You and with man. Whenever he/she turns to the right or to the left, I pray they hear Your command behind them saying, “This is the way. Walk in it.” (Isaiah 30:21) Lead him/her to your path, always. Continue to unfold the plan You have for (child’s name). Please protect (child’s name) mentally, spiritually, physically, and emotionally. Set Your warrior angels guard around him/her – shoulder to shoulder. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
