If you’re like me, you try to cut costs wherever you can. I’ve found that creating a weekly menu and shopping one week at a time causes a lot less waste – of money and food. When I buy in bulk, I tend to have an abundance of things in the cubbard that nobody really feels like eating. Buying by the week allows me to tailor the menu and add in creative or seasonal choices. I like to even let the kids help decide what we’ll have some nights. I just print and post on the frig. (Actually, I painted a section on the side of my frig with chalkboard paint and I now write my menu there!)
I hope to post some Budget Menu’s for you periodically and file them under the Category, Budget Meals. Be sure to follow this blog so you won’t miss them.
