It’s that time again! Time to start homeschooling, if you haven’t already. What a blessing to have homeschooled my two children all the way! Both are now in college classes. I love taking my teaching degree, God-given gifts (truly all glory for anything good that I do goes to Him), and passion for teaching and using it to support others in their homeschooling journey.
Beginning Monday on my Youtube Channel, your child can get a COMPLETE preschool/Pre-K school year. I will upload two videos per day. One will include Calendar/Weather Time and the other is the main Learning Video.
My YT web address is:

If you Subscribe and hit the bell, you’ll receive a notification the moment I upload the videos each day. Both will be uploaded by 9:00AM, EST.
Here is the “official” description of the class.
In this class, your child will get a Circle Time experience including Calendar Time & Weather. In addition, we cover a complete Preschool/Pre-K curriculum with lots of the concepts pulled from Kindergarten standards, so this class is appropriate for K5 students as well.
*This is the exact Circle Time that I used in public and private schools teaching Pre-K and Kindergarten. I have a teaching degree from Mercer University and over twenty years of teaching experience including homeschooling my own children.
You can print out a Weekly Lesson plan every Sunday from my website. It will tell you everything we are learning throughout the upcoming week, so that you can follow along or reinforce the lesson, if you’d like. No supplies are needed, but there will be a supply list in case you’d like to make the Art project or repeat the Science experiment at home.
Each day is independent of the others. We will cover one letter/theme per day for 26 weeks and then begin again with new themes and concepts. By the end of the school year, your child should know all their letters/sounds, numbers, shapes, colors, and be able to read CVC words and some special sounds as well as many math, Science, and Social Studies concepts.
Here is the schedule:
Calendar Time (Month/Count the day/Day of the week)
Weather
Letter of the Day and Theme Introduction (letter recognition, phonics sound, how to write the upper/lower case letters)
Decorate the Letter of the Day (idea for you to do at home later)
Language Skills Activity (sound the letter makes and blending)
Math Skill
Art
Science or Social Studies activity
Story Time
If your child prefers a Live option, I will be teaching this same class through Outschool M-F. There are several time slots to choose from. The live options allows them to interact with me as well as meet children from all over the U.S. and I have even had several from other countries join in. You can check out that Live class option here. (This is my personal affiliate parent link.)
